4. Urgent need to defecate

5. Fatigue or feeling constantly tired

6. Weight loss and loss of appetite

7. Fever in severe cases

8. Tenesmus, the sensation of incomplete bowel movements

9. Anemia (due to blood loss)

During flare-ups, these symptoms can be more intense, while during remission, they may decrease or disappear.
